I love the fact that you answered in three words so fast! I'm coming from South Carolina right now and I'm going to get exactly what you said now that's just straight-up sounds yummy almond fudge cake
Yeah, 'mini' is a bit of a misnomer. They're as big or bigger than larges other places
Yup. We are. We closed for two days while we did a roof and a seal on our floor that we could only do by being closed. However we will be back open on Thursday 7/9/20. Hope to see you then.
Never heard that.
Ummm idk lol
Their menu isn't online. But, if you can imagine it they can make it
If its your birthday u can
Iceberg Employees, could you PLEASE put onion rings in their own bag?!? The whole reason I LOVE your onion rings are because they are big and together. But when you pile all my other food on top of my onion rings they are no longer onion rings and that makes me unhappy!!!
Best shakes ever! Great friendly staff. Very kind people. Amazing sweet potato fries.
Shakes are good I’ll give them that. But when I have to remind you about my missing drink and two twist cones.. is pretty annoying, and to get attitude along with it is even worse. After dealing with the employee we totally spaced that they also forgot our kids meal drinks. Next time, shakes only.
We ordered 2 fish dinners and oh my goodness. The fish was so soggy I couldn't pick it up. Also tiny. Maybe 2-3 child size bites. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to eating here for quite sometime :(
The food and the milkshakes are always amazing at this place. It's always super busy but the wait (typically only 5 minutes or so) is well worth it. I've been going here since I was a child and love it as much now as I did then.
Best shakes in the world! They must be good, there were 12 cars behind us in the drive through. It would have been faster at the walk up counter.
When ever I look for a good burger and shake place this is one of my favorites. Variety is on the menu if you're looking for something to fill you up. If you're looking for a cold treat, I still have yet to finish one of their small shakes in one sitting. I still haven't dare to experience those large shakes yet.
Delicious food at great price. A little crowded on evenings and tough may need to view online menu to help tune line go faster. Can also view menu from building, but a little difficult if you're back a ways in line
Great place to get food and hang out. I've been going here for over 40 years and love every Chocolate+banana+raspberry malt I've ever had. Can get really busy at times. But you'll never be disappointed.
This place has been the place to go since I was little. Favorite icecream flavors, and yummy food when you need dinner too. Fries are awesome, but onion rings are amazing!
Shake flavors are okay. Quantity for the price is awesome. Other locations have a kids size that might be more appropriate for little kids than the mini.
The shakes were delicious. My son and his girlfriend came in from Michigan and she'd never seen shakes like these before. It was a treat my son hadn't had in years. The only concern I had was a woman working on the left side of the kitchen -40's maybe, dark hair - had her mask worn with her nose exposed. Seeing that undermined my confidence in my decision to take us there.
Every Shake that I have gotten from iceberg for 40 years, has been great. If you like great shakes or malt's this is the place for you.
Hit the spot after a long day. I found out you can mix flavors of shakes and got a pineapple/vanilla with a corndog. The shake size is smaller than the other Iceberg I have visited which is actually a huge positive because I could almost finish it!
What a great, delicious establishment. Their shakes are amazing and HUGE. Get the mini if you’re here for the first time—it’ll still likely fill you up. For two combos and shakes, it’ll be about $20.00.Their fries are some of the best in the whole city.
Ordered cheese fries... found them at the bottom of the bag, napkin stuck to it and all the other food piled on top. Only gave 2 stars because the shakes are always awesome...
Of the last 5 times I've been there my order has been wrong every time. This last time I asked a simple question about what's in a shake. He said "the flavor". Really? So I pressed, asking again what the components were and he kept saying the flavor, then finally said he didn't know and went to ask someone. My friend had to wait over 5 minutes for a drink they forgot. How does a soda takes 5 minutes? It's like no one wanted to take care of it. He had to ask several times. Also I had to get in the habit of asking for my shake to only come with my meal, not before... By the time I would get my food finally the shake would be half melted.
Honestly... They haven't been the best the past few times we have been there. They are slow, they have messed up our orders. Not wildly impressed. But... it's still ice cream so I'll give them 3 stars.
We ordered two #5 combos with Sprites to drink and two regular sized passion fruit-orange guava shakes. She kept asking if we wanted them in combos and asking if we wanted strawberry shakes. We kept pointing to the flyer on the window saying that we wanted the POG Shakes. They gave us two strawberry shakes, no sprites (we had to remind them, turns out she didn’t put them on the ticket) and only one combo and literally filled the rest of the bag with napkins. We didn’t think to check the bag until we were gone because it looked full.
I have been coming here for over 20 years. We dont live in the area anymore but whenever we are close by we take the time to get a shake. Bring yoir appetite the mini shake is huge!
Food was good, customer service was absolute garbage. We got a Dr. Pepper and it tasted like burnt rubber. Asked for a new one and after about 5 minutes. Went to tell them sorry for the inconvenience, and before I could say inconvenience, they slammed the window. The Sprite they handed me also tasted like rubber. I don't plan on going back anytime sooner.
Delicious burgers made with quality ingredients . The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is quick and professional . The place is clean and the prices are fair.
If someone were to every look for a definition of “nickel and dime” icebergs would appear first in the google search. It’s too bad a classic place like this feels a need to make everyone feel a little ripped off. Want sauce with your chicken? 25 cents. Water? 10 cents. Order a strawberry shake? 50 cents. It’s the classic owner trying to squeeze a quarter by dragging his employees through the mud of “is that extra?” And I don’t think anyone would even notice if they just added it to the already overpriced menu.
BIGGEST MILKSHAKES EVER! Super good. A must visit place in Salt Lake City.
Iceberg is a classic in Salt lake. If you ever get a chance to, stop by Iceberg. The shakes are absolutely amazing but be weary. The shakes are HUGE do be prepared to have leftovers. Even the small is huge. It is so worth every bite. I highly recommended the German chocolate shake.
The Iceberg drive-in has been around forever. It’s a classic Utah icon. They are most famous for their shakes. A mini shake cost 3.99 and the cup is 7 inches high and the ice cream probably goes 2 to 3 inches above it. For the price it’s a lot of ice cream. This place has a nice classic diner retro vibe. Not a lot of indoor seating and no bathroom.
Great shakes!! The minis are humongous. The only thing that sucks is the people that work there can be pretty rude sometimes.
Not the fastest Iceberg, but still oh so yummy! Can't wait for it to open again so that we can go back and eat giant yummy cheesecake shakes outside on summer nights! ✨
If you consistently want the wrong shake(my last three times here) or would like a watery Shake ( left my piled high shake on countertop for almost 5 min )this is the place for you. Would you want ice cream melted all over your freshly detailed car? Me either!!! All this and I waited a full hour for two shakes ☹This used to be the best place for ice cream not many more must be under new ownership not going here anymore
Love they have always have had the best shakes ever!! Hamburgers too!!
We all loved it as a group as a family and there was plenty of running space in the bathrooms were very very no complaints here
I had a corn dog and chicken strips. It was very tasty. The employees that I dealt with were very friendly. It was a great visit
The original! Been there since sometime in the 60s.still doing excellent quality products and service.be prepared to wait because it's not a well kept secret.my husband who can drink his weight in milkshakes couldn't finish his micro sized shake in one sitting and the fries and burgers were amazing!.they have every flavor of shake you can imagine along with a few you can't. Be sure and get the fry sauce they have an excellent version of it. I was taken there by a friend who grew up in the area and has been going so long he has a lifetime discount card. I would really recommend it!
The prices always catch me off guard because I am a total cheapskate and I wish there was a smaller size than the mini shake, but there's no arguing that Iceberg is the gold standard for shakes in Utah. If you haven't tried their pistachio shake, well, now you have an excuse to go back right away! It is the most underestimated shake on the menu. People look right past it and never give themselves the chance to fall head over heels in love. Don't make that mistake.
Love iceberg they have huge shakes for an okay price, definitely more unique flavors than the store, plus you can mix if you'd like. Their onion rings weren't very good though.. hardly any breading on them and were really greasy. Fries are good and they have dollar ice cream cones that they'll stack pretty high for ya 😉
Cool vibe, fun late night dessert place. Decent location compared to everything else. Got really busy when we went at 10:30 and took a while to get our shakes. The shakes themselves aren't bad, just feels like traditional ice cream that's been blended. Overall, not bad.
Unless you have 1 hour to wait for some sloppy shakes And poorly made Onion rings this is your place. The shakes are always made poorly when it's busy!!!
Can anyone tell me why they can’t speed up their operations? I love the shakes, but always disappointed with the service. With such a busy location I would think they could get a more efficient process in place.
The one and only original Iceberg. I always look forward to coming to this specific location whenever I am in town. No one makes shakes to my crazy taste like IceBerg. Wish they would come out to the DFW area, would be so happy.
Best ice cream in town!! Shakes are huge and so delicious. The onion rings are by far my favorite.
The best malt shakes in the city, no holds barred. And their fries are a hell of a pairing to go with the huge serving of ice-cream. You might be asking yourself, 'Is a mini large enough?' The answer is absolutely. Good flavor offerings, and they'll add whatever you ask them to into your mix. Make sure to add malt in for that extra rich flavor, and be prepared to line up to get it. Worth the wait, and the parking fiasco!
Very inexpensive. Huge icecream cones. Always very busy
The shakes here were $2.25 back in 2005, but the tables have turned in recent years. At least the burgers (onion rings, dip sauce) and ice cream is still good. Also, the triple berry shake is fantastic.
Don’t go expecting a good cheeseburguer, is worse and more expensive than Mc Donald’s. Also the coke flavor was so bad that seemed a Root Beer or some like that. Conclusion, don’t waste your money.
Delicious shakes, not too expensive maybe the only thing I'd like them to improve is timing
Chocolate shake with almonds - delish! Also had a great bacon cheeseburger with wonderfully crispy bacon and a yummy order of fries.
Great shakes but every time we come here they seem to forget something. This time it was my kids drink and fries,..... Also, although shake prices aren't too bad, their food prices are too high. Most the combos are about 10 dollars, that might be ok if they were amazing burgers or dogs but they are far from it.... They aren't bad mind you, just not amazing, not 10 dollars amazing.
They do not warn you that if you park in the parking lot behind on accident and don’t see the sign that you will have a boot put on your car from Legacy Towing with in five min of leaving your car. A man sits in his sliver Nissan on sundays making it look like it is ok to park. He waits for you to go to Icberg and then boots your car. They charge 75$ to take the boot off and they towed another car while we were there for at a min of 200$. Iceberg should be letting their patrons know of this viscous company and warn them to not park there. I will never go back to this location. Worst experience of getting ice cream of my life. What type of person watches people get out of there car and immediately puts a boot on the car. What type of company let’s their patrons be taken advantage of like this?
We'd never been here before, and there are always lots of cars lined up there, so we thought it must be good! We waited in line for at least half an hour, even though there were only 6 cars in front of us. When we got to the speaker, no one came on to get our order. We waited for 10 minutes with no response. When we pulled forward, they said the speaker wasn't working. Our question: why didn't they come to our car window in that case? Don't even care if the food is good, we're not going back because the service was nonexistent.
The drive thru was very crowded. There were cars standing on 3900 S blocking traffic. Other than that great food for reasonable price.
